What Steve thinks...... I like these units. They are on the expensive side, up there with the Thule Extender but they are a classy product with a genuine 6-ski capacity. The wide skis that are popular today are often too big to allow using many carriers to their stated capacity. The FatCat has a full 12cm extra width over the Thule Xtender which may offset the convenience of the Extender's slide mechanism for some users. They are certainly the toughest looking carriers that we sell and I love the look of them. The universal attachment is a good feature as you never know if you may end up with different roof racks on a car in the future.
