What Steve thinks......
The Yakima HoldUp is a great option for carrying a couple of mountain bikes. It has been designed for the American market so it has been built extremely tough. Compared to the refined and compact Thule European platform models it appears quite industrial but if your going down the dirt track to get to your trail it definitely looks the part. Also it lacks the integrated light boards of the European models so check out the deal we are offering for a discounted Rhino Rack light board to fix this up.
The HoldUp can be extended to 4 bikes with the HoldUp+2. Personally I think this is starting to get extremely bulky and putting a lot of leverage on to the towbar. So I would recommend this only for the the really heavy duty towbars that have a down load rating up over the 200kg mark.
