The Thule X1 luggage box is a
favourite with off roaders. It looks tough with its brushed metal finish
and rugged style. But it's not just appearances. Embedded into the base
of the box is a structural steel frame that supports and dissipates the
load to your roof racks. The reinforcing frame and powerful quick snap
attachments give the box a huge 75kg rating (check
rating of roof racks).
The Thule X1 can be opened from both
side of the vehicle making load, emptying and fitting to the racks very
easy. The boxes have a 3 point
locking system which operates from a single central key. The lock has a
built in safety mechanism that prevents the key from being removed if
the locks are not fully engaged. The lock barrel can be match to any
existing locks you have on your Thule roof racks or other Thule
accessories.
